Pickaway County House Bill 289 shared plan

Effective 2010, the H.B. 289 comprehensive planning process has transitioned to a new model called - Shared Plan Model. This new model is about aligning local plans to address priorities related to children and families rather than requiring county FCFCs to undergo a separate planning process that is often duplicated at the local level. The shared planning model is a simplified process that builds on data informed plans that already exist in the communities. The FCFCs may need to do some additional research to support their shared planning and/or fill any data gaps, but will not be required to conduct comprehensive planning. This model was developed by OFCF in partnership with The OSU Center for Learning Excellence (CLEX). In addition, several county FCFC Directors/Coordinators assisted in piloting and refining the model.

Family CENTERED services & supports
funds  -  T.E.A.M.

FAMILY-CENTERED SERVICES AND SUPPORTS (FCSS) The Ohio Family and Children First (OFCF) Cabinet Council is committed to continuing the efforts to improve programs, services, and supports for children with multiple systemic issues.  This commitment is shown through the continuation of the Family-Centered Services and Supports (FCSS) initiative which began in SFY 10 (July 2009).  The purpose is to maintain children and youth in their own homes through the provision of non-clinical, community-based services.  Families who have children with multiple systemic needs identified through the county Family and Children First Council (FCFC) service coordination process are eligible for FCSS funded services and supports.
