We help families find reliable child care. *Information and Referral: Linking parents looking for child care providers in centers, homes and school. The agency maintains a computerized database of child care centers, homes and programs for children. When parents call, a referral specialist uses the database to help find available child care in their area of work or residence. Parents also receive guidelines on how to select quality child care. Calls typically last 10-20 minutes and offer at least three referrals. *Training: Offering child care providers printed materials, classes, workshops and seminars. *Community Education: Helping parents make more informed child care choices and become better consumers of providers for child care services.
