HELP ME GROW SERVICE COORDINATORS

FEE: No Fee

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Free developmental screenings to your child’s developmental progress and learn what to expect next.

Information on social, medical and educational programs and services available for your child, and help to make contact with these programs.

Ideas and information about parenting and child development.

Provide regular home visits based on your family’s needs and concerns, plus a fun parent/child activity

Provide Service coordination to help your family receive the services you choose for your child. Your Service Coordinator will assist you with accessing needed community resources.

Playgroups for both babies and toddlers and a drop-in play area are available to all families enrolled in the program.

Free car seats available for WIC-eligible families. Anyone requesting a seat is required to attend a brief training session on the proper use of the seat.


HELP ME GROW FAMILY SUPPORT SPECIALIST

POPULATION SERVED: Families of infants and toddlers with developmental delays, or established risk for delay.

FEE: No Fee

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Provide support and information to families.

Assist in identifying needs and referring families to other families with similar challenges.

Assist families in the IFSP process.

Assist families through the emotional aspect of raising a child with a developmental delay.


HELP ME GROW NEWBORN HOME VISITING PROGRAM

POPULATION SERVED: Birth through 2 months

FEE: No Fee

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Check the development of your child from birth to 2 months old. This includes weighing and measuring your infant.

Provide a packet of information on topics like immunizations and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), and resources like magazines, videos, and books.

Assist with getting information on resources such as BCMH (Bureau of Medical Handicaps) and other agencies.

Free car seats available to WIC-eligible moms.
Anyone requesting a seat is required to attend a brief
Teaching session on the proper use of the seat.
